Dr Marc Davidowitz Qualified from the University of Cape Town Medical School in 2011 with Distinction and First Class Honours throughout his studies. While at UCT he was very involved in their outreach programmes and was in charge of a SHAWCO (Student Health and Welfare Centres Organisation) clinic in one of the communities.
He completed two years Internship at the Port Elizabeth Hospital Complex gaining experience in all medical and surgical fields. He then returned to Cape Town in 2014 to complete his Community Service at the Red Cross Children’s Hospital where he spent the year working in General Paediatrics.
He was involved as one of the doctors for Eastern Province Rugby during his stay in Port Elizabeth as well as working at major sporting events such as Ironman and the IRB Rugby Sevens for two years.
He has always been a very keen athlete and competes in multiple sporting events throughout the year. He has completed 18 Argus Cycle Tours, multiple long distance running and swimming events, 3 Ironman70.3 events and has completed Ironman South Africa twice.
He has a passion for medicine and adopting a holistic approach towards patients. He is involved in all fields of General Practice and has an interest in Sports Medicine and Paediatrics
