Dr Stefan Bezuidenhout graduated from the University of the Free State (UOVS) and subsequently completed 2 years of internship at Johannesburg General Hospital. There he gained experience in Family Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Internal Medicine, Paediatrics and Psychiatry.
This was followed by community service at Carletonville Hospital where he managed the Obstetrics & Gynaecology as well as the Anaesthetic departments. He then moved to Cape Town where he worked at the new Mitchells plain hospital.
He completed numerous diplomas in age-reversal and aesthetics, Botox, fillers, and skin physiology. He has teamed up with some of the leading plastic surgeons, dermatologists and laser clinics to offer patients a wide variety of treatments. Keeping up to date with new developments in the field of aesthetics is important to him and this currently includes sub-dermal suturing and meso-aesthetics.
After leaving the government sector he completed training in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac, Trauma and Paediatric Life support, which led to time being spent in emergency medicine at various Mediclinic casualties.
To keep a balanced lifestyle Stefan continues with his regular gym regime and has a keen interest in fitness and bodybuilding. This has lead to an interest in sports related injuries, men’s health, sexual health, depression and anxiety. Stefan believes that each patient is unique and needs an individually tailored approach.
